Instructions

Taquitos - Step 1

In a large bowl, add in cheese cream, cheeses, bacon, green onion, and spices. Mix thoroughly then incorporate the shredded turkey. Set aside.

Step 2

On a clean surface, lay flat one tortilla and add 2 tbsp of the filling to the center of the tortilla and spread across the entire surface. Roll up the tortilla, place onto a plate. Repeat until all tortillas are filled.

Step 3

Brush each taquito with melted butter and place into an air fryer at 400°F for 6-8 minutes a batch.
Alternative: Pre-heat oven to 400°F, place each taquito onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 15 - 20 mins or until outside is golden brown and crispy.

Queso - Step 1

In a large skillet on medium-high heat, melt butter. Add in green onions, garlic, and jalapenos, and cook for 2 minutes. Add flour and seasonings to make a roux and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 2

Whisk in milk and simmer until thickened. Add cheese and diced tomatoes, and stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and place into a medium serving bowl.

Step 3

Serve homemade queso with the taquitos and enjoy!
