Elevate your mashed potatoes with sour cream. The tangy and creamy notes pair perfectly with the starchy filling potatoes.
In a large pot add russet potatoes and fill with water until the potatoes are submerged. Heat on medium high until it begins boiling and potatoes are soft when poked with a fork. Drain.
In the same pot, begin mashing potatoes off the heat. Pour milk, butter and sour cream in and mash until smooth and creamy. Garnish with chives and serve.
