This gravy is just as delicious as it is to make! Just using leftover drippings from your holiday turkey and some locally made butter make for the perfect accompaniment for your holiday feast!
In a saucepan, melt Ontario butter over medium-low heat. Make a roux by adding flour and whisk until lightly brown and bubbly, about 2 to 3 minutes. Once bubbling, gradually pour in pan drippings and whisk to combine with the roux until smooth.
Once bubbling, add Ontario half-and-half and continue to whisk until smooth. Season with ground pepper and salt. Once gravy is hot, add 1 tbsp thyme leaves, stir and remove from heat
Transfer gravy into a gravy boat, season with black pepper, garnish with fresh thyme and serve.
