This cheesy, quick and easy Mac N Cheese will be one for the weekly dinner rotation and it doesn't require an oven!

  1. Step
    In a skillet over medium heat add the butter, whisky frequently. Continue cooking until the butter begins to foam & give off a nutty aroma, about 3 to 4 minutes. It will go from brown butter to burnt butter very quickly, so watch it carefully.
  2. Step
    Once the butter browns, add the breadcrumbs. Season with salt & pepper. Set aside until ready to serve.

    In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt, add in flour and whisk for about 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in the milk. Season with salt, pepper & pepper flakes. Continue cooking until mixture begins to thicken, about 15 minutes.
  4. Step
    Add the cheeses & sour cream. Stir until the cheese fully melts into the sauce.
  5. Step
    Add in the cooked macaroni pasta and gently mix until evenly coated. Garnish with the brown butter breadcrumbs & serve immediately.
