Eating your greens couldn’t get any easier with our take on a green bean casserole. Made with local heavy cream, a creamy filling with a crispy exterior has never tasted better.
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Trim and blanch green beans. Place them in an 11x7-inch baking dish.
Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add mushrooms and onions; cook until browned. Stir in all-purpose flour. Add unsalted chicken stock, Ontario whole milk, salt and pepper. Stir until thick and smooth.
Spoon sauce over green beans. Sprinkle panko and Ontario shredded cheese. Broil until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
