Instructions

  1. Step
Prepare the Cherry Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook until the cherries break down and the mixture thickens. Blend the softened cherries into a puree. Let cool.
  2. Step
Prepare the Cream Mixture: Beat egg yolks with sugar until the volume doubled and turn pale. Add in mascarpone cheese, mix well. Then add in whipping cream, beat until thickened.
  3. Step
    Transfer into a piping bag.
  4. Step
Assemble the Tiramisu: Combine warm milk with coffee powder and mix thoroughly. Dip the ladyfinger biscuits completely in the coffee, then arrange a layer of them at the bottom of a 22x15x6 cm mold.
  5. Step
Pipe a layer of tiramisu mixture over the biscuits. Add a second layer of soaked ladyfingers on top.
  6. Step
Spread the cherry sauce evenly over this layer and place halved cherries on top. Pipe another layer of tiramisu mixture over the cherries and smooth the surface. Finish by adding more cherry sauce and halved cherries.
  7. Step
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, dust with coffee powder and garnish with fresh cherries. Enjoy!
