BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE

STEAMER

Instructions

  1. Step
    In a saucepan, melt together sugar, whipping cream, butter and corn syrup over medium heat. Bring to a simmer. Stir for about 2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Set aside.
  2. Step
    Omit heating the milk and pour over ice cubes in glasses. Butterscotch Rum Variation
  3. Step
    Cover and refrigerate remaining Butterscotch Sauce for up to 3 weeks. To reheat sauce, place in microwave-safe bowl or in a saucepan over low heat until proper consistency.
