Step 1
Heat a heavy bottom pot on medium heat. Add ghee, followed by rice. Stir, then add cardamom pods. Mix until aromatic.
Step 2
Add Ontario milk and stir well until milk comes to a boil. Once boiling, lower heat to low and let simmer, stirring frequently until thickened.
Step 3
Once thick, add sugar and mix. Remove from heat and pour into serving bowls. Garnish with rose petals (optional) and serve.
