Ultra-Cheesy Baked Hotdogs

Instructions
- StepPreheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush hotdog buns with melted butter and place in a baking dish.
- StepGrill or pan-cook the hotdogs until heated through. Place each into a buttered bun.
- StepIn a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened, about 2–3 minutes. Stir in cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper until melted and creamy.
- StepSpoon cheese sauce over each hotdog, then sprinkle with mozzarella or provolone.
- StepTransfer to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.
- StepDrizzle with sour cream or yogurt and sprinkle with chives. Serve hot.
