  1. Step
    Preheat the oven to 400°F. Leave pizza dough on the counter to come to room temperature

    Squash: In bowl, add in diced squash and toss with melted butter and chopped sage. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow mixture to cool to room temperature.

    Sausage: In a large frying pan on medium-high heat, remove the casing from the sausages and cook lightly until it is crumbled and browned.
  4. Step
    Ricotta Sauce: In a large bowl, mix together ricotta, garlic powder, chilli flakes, heavy cream, salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Dough Assembly: On a oiled baking tray, stretch our the pizza dough until tray surface is covered. Tip: gently stretch pizza dough from underneath, pulling from the centre to the edges to prevent tearing of the dough.
  6. Step
    Pizza Assembly: Spread the ricotta sauce over the pizza, then generously sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Top with the cooked sausage and squash.
  7. Step
    Bake pizza in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and the dough is golden brown.

    Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley and toasted pumpkin seeds then serve
