Hearty Garlic Butter Shrimp Shepherd’s Pie with Truffle Cheese Curds
Try this cheesy seafood twist to a traditional shepherd's pie loaded with white cheddar made in Ontario. Loaded with incredible decadent flavour that can serve as a main dish or a side.

- StepPreheat oven to 400
- StepIn a large pot, boil potatoes until tender and drain. Add ½ cup cream and 2 tbsp butter and mash until creamy. Cover and set aside.
- StepIn a large skillet, add 2 tbsp butter, garlic, onions, and flour. Mix and cook until softened. Add cream, chopped leeks, celery, and simmer until thickened. Add garlic powder, chili flakes and mix. Turn off heat and mix in shrimp, pepper and simmer.
- StepTake 4 medium ramekins, spoon equal amounts of shrimp cream sauce in each and top with mashed potatoes. Add ½ cup shredded white cheddar and bake for 15 minutes or until cream sauce is bubbling and cheese is melted and browning. Serve.
