Garlic Herb Steakhouse Butter

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil. Roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and golden. Let cool, then squeeze out the cloves.

    In a bowl, mash softened butter until smooth. Add roasted garlic, parsley, chives, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Step
    Spoon the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper. Roll into a log and twist the ends to seal.
  4. Step
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  5. Step
    Slice into rounds and place over hot steak, grilled vegetables or warm bread just before serving.
