Looking for a delicious snack? Try this ricotta toast with fig and prosciutto. The freshness of Ontario ricotta cheese brings out the saltiness of the prosciutto and the sweetness of the honey.

- StepSpread butter on both sides of the bread slices. In a fry pan on medium-low heat, toast each side until golden brown.
- StepSpread Ontario ricotta cheese and layer with prosciutto, figs and drizzle with honey.
- StepFor a more savoury meal, mix a pinch or two of salt, pepper and chilli powder (adjust according to your taste) into the ricotta before adding it to the bread.
