    Mix flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Beat the egg in another bowl and place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

    Gently roll burrata in flour to cover completely, then dip in the egg and evenly coat, lastly cover in breadcrumbs. Repeat 1 more time for extra crunch.

    Place burrata on a piece of aluminum foil and then in the freezer for 20 minutes, this will prevent the burrata from over cooking.

    In the meantime, warm the marinara sauce in a pan.
  5. Step
    Once cooled, place burrata on aluminum foil in the air fryer and fry for 7 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Step
    Place the fried burrata in tomato sauce and sprinkle with basil.
