  1. Step
In small saucepan set over medium heat, stir together caramel candies and milk. Heat, stirring occasionally, until caramel dissolves and mixture is smooth. Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes. Dip rims of 4 glasses in melted caramel mixture (reserve remaining for Step 2). Let stand for 5 minutes or until set.
  2. Step
In another small saucepan set over medium heat, warm 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk until heated through and just starting to simmer. Stir in caramel candies, reserved melted caramel mixture and salt until melted.
  3. Step
Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate. Let stand for 1 minute and whisk until smooth. Whisk in remaining milk and vanilla; refrigerate until well chilled.
  4. Step
Just before serving, in medium bowl, using handheld electric mixer, whip cream and confectioners’ sugar until stiff peaks start to form.
  5. Step
Divide crème brûlée milk evenly among glasses. Top each with dollop of whipped cream mixture and garnish with crushed candy canes.
