Ingredients

Instructions

Saute Aromatics

  1. Step
In a large deep skillet or pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Flavour Base

  1. Step
Stir in the dried Italian herbs and sun-dried tomato pesto. Cook for 1 minute to release the flavors.

Add Liquids and Pasta

  1. Step
Pour in chicken broth and milk, then add the uncooked linguine. Stir gently to coat the pasta and prevent sticking.

Simmer

  1. Step
Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring often, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Make it Creamy

  1. Step
Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add Parmesan and mix until creamy. If it’s too thick, splash in a bit of warm water or extra milk.

Season and Finish

  1. Step
Taste and season with salt and pepper. If using spinach, stir it in now until wilted.

Serve

  1. Step
Serve hot with extra local Parmesan on top.
