Instructions
Saute Aromatics
- StepIn a large deep skillet or pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add Flavour Base
- StepStir in the dried Italian herbs and sun-dried tomato pesto. Cook for 1 minute to release the flavors.
Add Liquids and Pasta
- StepPour in chicken broth and milk, then add the uncooked linguine. Stir gently to coat the pasta and prevent sticking.
Simmer
- StepBring to a light boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring often, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Make it Creamy
- StepStir in cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add Parmesan and mix until creamy. If it’s too thick, splash in a bit of warm water or extra milk.
Season and Finish
- StepTaste and season with salt and pepper. If using spinach, stir it in now until wilted.
Serve
- StepServe hot with extra local Parmesan on top.
