Buttery Charcuterie Panini

We’ve all had charcuterie board, but have you ever tried it in a warm buttery toasted panini? All that charcuterie goodness sandwiched between two slices of sourdough, melted to gooey perfection.

    Slice sourdough bread to ½” slices and shred artisan smoked gouda
  2. Step
    Spread softened butter on the outside of each sourdough slice. Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of each slice.
  3. Step
    Layer the charcuterie meats, sliced pickles, and shredded smoked gouda onto 4 slices of bread. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
  4. Step
    Place the sandwiches in a panini press and cook for 5–10 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Step
    If using a skillet, cook the sandwiches over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden and melted. Slice in half and serve immediately.
