Baked Brie – Halloween Style

    Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On a lightly floured work surface, unroll the puff pastry and cut it into ½-inch strips.
  3. Step
    Wrap the pastry strips around the brie to resemble a mummy, leaving small gaps between some of the strips and space for the eyes.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk to make an egg wash. Brush the pastry lightly with the egg wash, then transfer the wrapped brie to the prepared baking sheet.

    Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is deeply golden and the brie is warmed through and gooey.
  6. Step
    For the eyes, place two sliced ends of grape tomato inside two sliced black olives. Add the eyes to the baked brie before serving.

    Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
