Gameday Sliders

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders get their magic from cheddar, mozzarella, and sour cream made right here in Ontario. Soft rolls soak up sour cream and a buttery herb topping, while cheddar and mozzarella bring the perfect cheese pull. Easy to prep, bake, and share. It’s the kind of crowd-pleasing bite that only happens when really good dairy shows up—thanks to Ontario dairy farmers.

Instructions

  1. Step
    Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the slider buns snugly.
  2. Step
    In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, sour cream, softened butter, and dried parsley. Mix until evenly coated.
  3. Step
    Without separating the buns, slice the entire slab of slider buns horizontally. Place the bottom half into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Step
    Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the buns. Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella evenly over the chicken layer. Place the top buns back on.

    In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh parsley.
  6. Step
    Brush the garlic butter generously over the tops of the buns.
  7. Step
    Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  8. Step
    Remove the foil and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
  9. Step
    Remove from the oven, garnish with additional parsley if desired, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
